Invisalign and Spark Clear Aligners

Clear Aligner Process

At your initial free consultation, we will take x-rays and Dr. Parks will examine your teeth, bite, and facial form to determine which treatment options are possible for you. If you choose to start clear aligner treatment, we will then take a 3D scan of your teeth so that Dr. Parks can hand-tailor a beautiful, healthy smile for you. You can even see your smile makeover on the screen
when your plan is ready!

Your second appointment will be an exciting day! At this visit, we will add clear bumps or handles called attachments to some of your teeth. These attachments are important so that your Invisalign or Spark clear aligners will have something to hold onto when we are doing movements such as bringing a tooth down or turning a tooth.

You will then receive your first set of clear aligners, which come in numbered packages. At GoaLine Orthodontics, we give patients 8-12 sets at a time. We ask that you wear your clear aligners 20-22 hours every day and only remove them to eat and brush your teeth.

When your first clear aligner treatment plan is finished, we will either remove your attachments and give you a retainer series, or take a new 3D scan for a refinement plan. At GoaLine Orthodontics in Frisco, it does not cost extra for Invisalign or Spark clear aligner refinements. Dr. Parks believes that patients should pay for an exceptional result, regardless of how many aligners it takes to achieve a
winning smile!

Retainers are similar to clear aligners, but you only have to wear them at night when you sleep. Not only do they keep your teeth straight, but they also protect your teeth from grinding at night.
